Beginning May 2024, there have been significant changes to Soma. Please read below for commonly asked questions.
What happened in May 2024?
White Station Church of Christ announced that they would no longer oversee Soma. At that same time, it was announced they were going to sell the 3611 Midland Ave. property, but they have since apologized for making that announcement as they are seeking out the option of another church overseeing the ministry.
Why is White Station no longer overseeing Soma?
Again, please note that they have at this time chosen to not sell the building. The below message went out to White Station church members on June 5:

Should I still donate to Soma?
At this time, it is your choice. Please be aware that White Church of Christ is the bookkeeper for Soma; therefore, all funds donated to Soma will belong to White Station until a decision is made as to how to steward the funds that Soma has accumulated over the years.
Is there are a church wanting to take over Soma?
There have been churches that have brought forward interest, and it will be the Transition Team at White Station Church of Christ to make the decision on who will carry on the campus ministry.
Who is on the Executive Committee currently?
White Station Church of Christ has decided to no longer empower the Executive Committee; therefore, they were disbanded.
Will there be Soma for Fall of 2024?
As of now, no.
What will happen to the students that went to Soma?
At the time of the decision, there were no undergraduate members that were part of the ministry.
Why does it look like students are at Soma (3611 Midland Avenue)?
Right now, Oikos Church is using the 3611 Midland Avenue property to hold fellowship and worship opportunities.
