Welcome Week

Sunday, 21st. We know that first day of classes will be intimidating for most, so students from Soma want to show you where your classes are! Come to Soma at 1PM and we can have some lunch and hang out. Make sure to bring your schedule and you'll be given a customized tour of campus and you'll know where your classes are (and maybe how long it will take for you to get there! And you'd be surprised, 15 minutes between classes really isn't that much!)
Monday, 22nd. Fair Food @ 6PM. Corn dogs, pop corn, sno cones, cotton candy & fun. Every Monday during our fall and spring semesters we have a free meal (minus holidays and the ever-so-rare snow/ice day). The first Monday of the semester is no different! Afterwards, we'll play some board games and have some laughs. You don't want to miss it!
Tuesday, 23rd. Jeopardy trivia night 6pm with a host that has actually been on Jeopardy! Test your knowledge. Answer in the form of a question. Fun, prizes & fellowship! Some type of cool treat will be provided!
Wednesday, 24th. 6pm Karaoke. Sing your ❤ out. 🎙up and voice out. We will have ice cream & some chicken fries!
Thursday, 25th. Again, this is something that goes on weekly in both Fall and Spring semesters! Refuge starts at 5PM and is time of worship. Join us in singing, praying, and learning! We will be looking at Luke.
To be honest, we usually follow Refuge with a 30 minute 'conversation' on where we should eat. So, join us!
Friday, 26th. Scavenger Hunt! Join us @ Soma building for the hunt starting 4pm. You will be divided up into teams of 2-4 (we can set you up on a team when you get here or bring your own merry band of go-getters!). Teams then sent out on foot to capture pics of places on and around campus. Posts to social media with #SomaScavenger. Winning team, yeah, prizes!
Oh, yeah, there will be snacks & cool drinks as well.
